What is nice with this passion for watches, is that even if you believe you know some things, each day you learn something.
Yesterday, we were invited to a GG Party, and let me tell you that we were received as old fellows, old friends of the brand I only know for the Mickey Watches...Yes, I confess it.
I really and warmly want to thank the whole GG team for their welcome: Laurent, Laure, Caroline, who work at the GG Boutique, Rue de la Paix, near Place Vendome, and a big surprise....

I can tell you that Mr RODEN and his wife are true ...Genta Men, if you authorize me, SJX, to teal your own expression, my friend!
It was a true pleasure to speak with him and her, as their objectivity, their honesty, and their knowledge is very impressive.
So, we had some Champagne at the Boutique, and had the pleasure to discover which will be the 2d surprise, the new GG Collection.

Very interesting model, which will require a lot of time to get used to read the hour, but once you get it, it's ok....
Another way to read the hour, and that's what is really appealing with this watch!
The Octo Mickey Tourbillon:

A fuuny watch, but don't know if I don't prefer another solution....A Mickey watch, and this one, which is my absolute favourite GG watch, The Octo Tourbillon!
I absolutely love this dial designed, in ceramic, , this blend of colors, and forms...
This is a mad Watch as only a few Manufactures can do it, and GG did it perfectly...
The bezel too, made in Tantalum, nicely matches with the platinum case...
The weight of the watch is of course important, due to the materials used, but the feeling is very pleasant.
We saw some other watches, but my pics were catastrophic, due to the yellow light of the Boutique, so I'll let Forvesta post his!
So, After, we went for dinner in a nice Restaurant, near the Place Vendome, with all the usual suspects....
