Gefica as it ages...4 months old.

have kept it unworn for a month. Placed on my desk, after wearing it almost daily for several months.It has a matt appearance, very "wood" like in nature, as if the case was carved from a heavy, solid piece of teakwood. Very unusual, it does not even look like metal, a very very pleasing and strangely "zen" like quality of serenity about it.Now, when the first pieces arrive in Singapore for Tempus, we MUST compare them! ...

Reasons behind design? To convey a very bold and mechanical look - no superluminova, only bold carved-in materials. It is a watch from another time, between the 1920's African/Art Deco period and the futuristic "Predator" Steam Punk era. Giger..Swiss...Computer era...vs tribal drums... The design is a mixture of Art Deco and African Art (which was an influence on Art Deco). Part of my "job" last year was to give my personal opinion to private banking folk, I was approached to share with them my personal views.The study done had nothing to do with me, but I did give certain inputs, all personal points of view...as this was what they wanted.
